Did you know the first 20 minutes of your day set the bar for the next 20 hours? Follow these steps to set yourself up for an amazing day. Ready for anything.
Step 1 Mindfulness
There are several mindfulness practices you can incorporate into your morning routine to have an amazing day.
Give yourself a high five. It's been scientifically proven. The physical action boosts encouragement, motivation and enthusiasm. AKA an instant mood boost. Don't take my word for it make it part of your morning when you wash your face or brush your teeth. Make sure not to slam the mirror too hard ;).
By focusing on the positive aspects of your life, you'll start your amazing day with a more positive mindset.
Step 2 Meditation
Breathing meditation is an effective technique you can use to start your amazing day. This involves focusing on your breath. Take a big deep inhale and pause then exhale with a sigh or a yawn. Step 3 Make the Occasion with What you Wear
If it's worth getting up for it's worth getting dressed for. Make the occasion with what you wear.

Step 4 Get moving
Movement and sunshine. So many ways to get this for your amazing day. It's a go to for me and it's always fun to switch it up. Stand by your window and have a big stretch. Put on a tune and dance. Walk part of your commute. These things take minutes and make a huge difference.
Step 5 Have Your Favourite
Whats your favourite drink? A tea, coffee juice? When you make it and drink it savour every moment. The ritual of making or buying the the drink. Where did it come from, who made it? The taste, temperature, the texture. How does it make you feel? What do you love about it?
Step 6 Own it
Create a routine that works for you and sets you up for an AMAZING DAY
Here are some tips to help you stay on track when starting
- Start small
- Hold yourself accountable
- Don't beat yourself up: If you miss a day or two, don't beat yourself up. Just get back on track the next day.
